We conducted an inspection before the Obon holiday in August.

Things are going well so far, but we're starting to see some mites, so we'll probably only be able to harvest honey one more time.

Next, we'll apply Apivar to remove mites and prepare the fish for overwintering.

The period after the long holiday weekend is also a time to prepare for the arrival of hornets.

Starting with 99 nectars, this spring's harvest brought the total to 102 nectars (it's originally 100, but the number is added up each year).

This year's honey harvest is excellent, so I'm really looking forward to it.
