Groups B and C are progressing well. However, due to the recent low temperatures and rain, less honey has accumulated than expected, so only two honey frames have been stockpiled, and no honey harvesting will take place today.

This time, we absolutely cannot let mites damage the beehive, so we're going to thoroughly eliminate them. The frames where mites were found are isolated in the beehive behind the camera, and after eliminating the mites, we'll put in the mite-killing agent Apivar and let the bees clean it up.

A large number of mites were discovered, and efforts are being made to eliminate them to prevent a repeat of last season's situation.

The three colonies that were identified as having normal nesting boxes have queens and are stable; we plan to take measures against mites next time.

Depending on the weather, we expect to be able to obtain several honey frames during next week's inspection.
